Perfect for bundling up and gifting, or for serving guests, no-bake Cherry Ripe Balls are little bites of goodness too good to refuse.

What are Cherry Ripe Balls?

Is safe to say that while Cherry Ripe Balls aren’t a traditional sweet treat, they’re definitely a cult classic in Australia – because what’s not to love about rich cocoa combined with condensed milk, coconut and Cadbury Cherry Ripe chocolate bars? And the fact that they don’t require cooking just makes them that must sweater.

A spin on the classic truffle recipe we all know and love, this particular version of coconut-rolled bliss balls, simply adds Cherry Ripe bars – and the results speak for themselves.

But the true beauty of this recipe is just how adaptable it is. If Cherry Ripes aren’t your jam, how about adding fresh Peppermint Crisp, or Crunchie for a hit of honeycomb? Simply take the basic ingredients of sweet biscuits, condensed milk and cocoa and add your choice of chocolate treat for flavour.

Here are some ingredients you could try swapping out or adding to the recipe:

  • Peppermint Crisp
  • Violet Crumble or Crunchie
  • Snickers
  • Dried fruit
  • Roasted nuts
  • Nutella

Oh and if you’re feeling a little naughty, a dash of dark rum takes these balls to new heights of yum!

How to make Cherry Ripe Balls

ingredients for Cherry Ripe Balls

Using a food processor, this recipe is as simple as combining the ingredients, rolling them into balls and then coating them in your choice of coconut or melted chocolate. Honestly, it’s so simple that even the youngest cooks in the house can whip these up. They’re just as great for school events as they are for dinner parties.

Take a look at the recipe below from one of our MoM Members, Hazel. It’s super quick, nice and easy and seriously delicious. Enjoy!
