Ingredients (makes 24 Cookies)

  • 125 grams Butter (softened)
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 cup Milk chocolate bits

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Beat butter and brown sugar using electric beaters until well combined. Add the eggs and beat well after each addition.
  2. Sift together plain flour and baking powder and mix into the butter mixture. Stir in Choc Bits.
  3. Roll large spoonfuls of mixture into balls ( I used a tbsp measuring spoon) and place about 8-10 cm apart on oven tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Flatten the balls not too much just a slight push with a teaspoon.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oven and cool on trays. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

I had to cook half the recipe at seperate times as I didn't have a big enough tray.

  • Putting this on my FB to make on a later date – Thanks :-)
