A very easy and tasty mango chicken recipe made with the Philips All-in-One Cooker. I served it with Israeli couscous.

Ingredients (serves 3)

  • 500 g cubed chicken breast
  • 1 mango cut into cubes (keep the pit)
  • 1 small can coconut milk
  • salt

Method

  1. Add oil to the inner pot.
  2. Press SAUTE/SEAR HIGH TEMP button, set cooking time for 5 minutes and press START (Do not close the lid) add the chicken and stir from time to time.
  3. Add coconut milk and mango to the all-in-one cooker inner pot (also the mango pit). Stir.
  4. Seal lid, check that the valve is on seal.
  5. Select SLOW COOK LOW TEMP for 4 hours. Press START.
  6. Turn the pressure regulator to vent, open the lid, remove the mango pit and enjoy!

  • I wonder if you could do this with pineapple instead of mango? Both ways would b e lovely though.

  • I like the sound of the Israeli couscous.

  • Sounds so easy to make and is asking me to cook it. Will look for mangoes going cheap, still wish I was up in the north again for this.

  • That machine sounds really good. Is it like a thermomix?

    • No, absolutely not. With a Thermomix you can cook, weigh, blend, mill, whip, knead.. and so much more. With the All-in-One Cooker you can steam, bake, pressure cook, slow cook, and make yogurt. It misses all the food processor parts of the Thermomix.
