Quick and easy treat.


Ingredients (serves 16)

  • 4 weetbix Crushed
  • 1 cup Plain flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Rolled oats
  • 2tbsp Cocoa
  • 70g Melted cocount oil
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • Handfull Crushed nuts
  • 1 tbsp Instant coffee

Method

  1. Mix brown sugar, oats, weetbix, flour and cocoa in a bowl.
  2. Add melted coconut oil and 1/4cup of milk. Mix well.
  3. Press in to baking tin. (20cm x20 cm with banking paper at the top)
  4. Bake 20 min in 180°C. Cool in tin.
  5. Prepare icing. Mix sugar and milk. Add dry coffer and mix for 2 min.
  6. Spread on the top of baked base and sprinkle with crushed nuts.

  • Coffee and dessert…you can’t go wrong

  • this sounds like a good treat – do you have to use coconut oil or can you just up the copha quantity? i’ve got all the other ingredients, just not the coconut oil.
