A yummy, messy crumbed steak recipe.

Ingredients (serves 2 | makes 2 Crumbed steaks)

  • 2 Rump steaks
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tblsp Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Pound steak to tenderise.
  2. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bread bag. Add steak and toss to coat
  3. Lightly beat egg in a bowl. Dip flour coated steaks in
  4. Combine breadcrumbs with parmesan and garlic powder in a bowl. Add steaks and press in crumbs till coated
  5. Cook. Serve with veggies or salad

Notes

Nice and easy yet delicious. I like mine served with veggies and a cheese sauce. Lush

  • Interesting that it has parmesan!
I wonder if hubby would be impressed if I tried this recipe as he is just a salt and pepper man unless it’s a bbq rub being used.

  • Sound nice…but where is the steak on the photo. ????

    • I was wondering that too! I wanted to see what they look like as I havent tried them before

      • There is a piece, raw, under my hand. You can see it through my fingers. It’s a messy fingers recipe, the messy part is crumbling the steak, not the finished cooked product
Sorry to disappoint, it looks great cooked and tastes even better
