This recipe is quiet strong so adjust the amount of Whiskey to your taste.

Ingredients (serves 12)

  • 400ml Irish Whiskey
  • 395g Condensed Milk
  • 350ml Double Thick Cream
  • 3T Choc Hazelnut Syrup
  • 1t Vanilla Extract
  • 1t Instant Coffee
  • 12 Hollow Chocolate Eggs

Method

  1. Place all ingredients (except eggs) in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix ingredients with electric beaters on low until all combined. Place in fridge to cool.
  3. Cut to tops off chocolate eggs and place on a saucer with a little melted chocolate.

Notes

I made this recipe for my family this year instead of chocolates. We make the kids milkshakes in Chocolate Bunnies.

  • Im not a drinker but I know a few people who would love these.

  • I think this is for elders.

  • I tried doing Bailey’s out of hollow eggs last year but they leak. However, a work mate said you need to melt chocolate and spread a layer on the inside of the eggs to reinforce them.

  • Think that both the milkshake filling for the children and the whiskey one for the adults would be treats in their own way. Thanks for sharing your idea.
