Yummy meatball serve with salad and sweet chili sauce.


Ingredients (makes 4 Meatball)

  • 500 gr Pork mince
  • 2 tbs Ginger mince
  • 2 tbs Garlic mince
  • 4 Eggs, boiled half cooked
  • 2 tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbs Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbs Salt
  • 1/2 tbs Pepper
  • 1 tbs Fish sauce
  • 1 Carrot, grated
  • 2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 Eggs, shake off

Method

  1. Place in a large bowl pork mince, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, fish sauce and carrot. Mix by hand to thoroughly incorporate.
  2. Scoop up enough pork to make a large indentation in the centre, insert on boiled egg and roll into a ball.
  3. Roll the meat balls in the flour and shake off any excess. Dip in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs, pressing to coat.
  4. Place on a baking tray, bake on 170 degree until golden brown about 25 minutes.

  • Egg stuffed meatballs….hehe….and if you are English then Scotch Eggs…My Mum used to make these when I was a kid…I havent had one in years.

  • I have to try making this just like this one. I usually make a loaf one with boiled eggs and beef mince coz my children doesn’t eat pork. I must try a pork one.Looks delicious. Thank you for sharing.
