Invite a couple of friends and bask in nutritious bliss amongst nature and all it has to offer with a Spring picnic! This Kiwi Salsa recipe is perfect for picnics as it doesn’t require reheating and is completely share-friendly!


Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 2 Kiwi fruits
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1/4 cup Coriander
  • 3 Jalapeno peppers
  • 1/2 Lemon, juiced
  • 2 Tbsp Spring onion, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn chips

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl and serve with corn chips.

  • What an interesting idea. I always see kiwifruit on sale at great prices but never know what to do with them apart from eat them on their own so this is a great idea.

  • Whilst I might make this for others, I’m not a fan of kiwi fruit or coriander. I struggle with both for various reasons. I imagine my friends would love it though.
