A fantastic smoothie recipe for all you mums suffering with morning sickness!

This delicious smoothy provides a great, nutrient packed start to the morning, when you may not be feeling so great! It can be prepared in minutes and the calming ginger is great on a sensitive stomach.

Ingredients

1 cup (250ml) apple or pear juice

3 fresh peaches, stone removed & chopped (or 6 tinned peach halves)

2 tbsp greek style organic natural yoghurt

1 banana chopped

1 tsp ginger, finely grated

Method

Pop all ingredients into a blender with a handful of ice, whizz and enjoy!

  • Having suffered HG (9 months and 24/7 morning sickness) this actually makes me want to puke, just thinking back to that time when ABSOLUTELY NOTHING worked except medication and hospitalisation.

    • This is a beautiful recipe but I can imagine you want to puke when you see or smell this when you have serious HG !

  • Sounds yummy, and looks like it helps (from the comments)…. I’m not sure how I would have gone even contemplating putting a green drink near my mouth when I was so sick though.
