These chocolate croissants are great little snacks for morning or afternoon tea and also great for the kids lunchbox!

Ingredients (serves 8)

  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • Nut Free Chocolate Spread
  • Dash Milk

Method

  1. Cut puff pastry sheets into 4 squares (8 in total)
  2. Place a teaspoon full of chocolate spread in the centre of the pastry and roll into a croissant shape. Squeeze edges together.
  3. Baste a little milk on the top of each croissant. Bake at 180 until pastry is golden and cooked through.

Notes

Nut Free Chocolate Spread can be found in the health food aisle of the supermarket and is also low in sugar.

  • Yum! You could try this with multiple filings! Bet they’re much nicer than store bought!

  • You can also cut them into triangles to get a different shape and use different fillings. I would put in the filling something more healthy other than chocolate spread.
