My kids make this as it is easy and delicious to eat afterwards.
for the tin use any size you like ie if you want a thin slice use a bigger one and if you want a thick slice or cube use a higher container.

  • 1 packet marshmallows
  • 1 packet snakes
  • 500g cadburys chocolate block

  1. chop marshmallows and snakes into little pieces.
  2. break up chocolate and microwave in plastic bowl on high for 20 seconds then stir with plastic spoon. put in again for 20 seconds and then stir and repeat until all melted. Alternatively you can melt in a bain-marie. Be careful not to over cook which is why you do 20 seconds at a time.
  3. WHen chocolate is melted mix in lollies and marshmallows and pour into a lined tin with baking paper. refrigerate and cut into slices or bite size pieces when set.

Notes... You can add nuts if you wish. You can use any of your favourite lollies and the smaller you chop them the better. line the tin with baking paper so easy to pull out when set. If you use a nice tasting chocolate like cadburys it tastes even better.
  • Would never thought of using snakes as the jelly part and so easy to make. This would make a great choice for twins birthday and their older brother can still eat it as not babyish.

  • After reading this this morning, my 13 year old daughter made it using starburst snakes, a giant packet of marshmallows from the Reject shop and Cadbury dairy milk and it’s REALLY good. She doesn’t like nuts so this is the first time she’s tried rocky road. Thanks :)
