Quiches are so easy to prepare. My family really enjoys them!

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 375 g green beans
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • salt
  • Italian herbs


  1. Boil the green beans for 15 minutes in a saucepan full of hot water.
  2. Preheat oven at 180 degrees.
  3. Line a baking dish with baking paper.
  4. Defrost one sheet of puff pastry.
  5. In a mixing bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and eggs. Add some salt and Italian herbs.
  6. Drain the beans and add to the mixing bowl.
  7. Use puff pastry to line base and sides of the baking dish.
  8. Pour the mix over the pastry.
  9. Bake for around 45 minutes.
  10. Serve with a green salad.

Notes... This recipe works well with asparagus too!
  • You are welcome! Mascarpone cheese is generally used in sweet dishes, but it’s actually very good in savoury ones too.
