Delicious healthy homemade dip

Ingredients (makes 1 cup )

  • 150 grams Sundried tomatoes, drained and roughly chopped
  • 1 can Cannelli beans, rinsed and drained
  • 5-6 leaves Fresh basil
  • 3-5 Chives
  • I tsp Apple cider vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil


  1. Put all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve with crackers or chopped veggies.

  • Made this dip yesterday. Stuck to the recipe, but next time I’m going to thin it down with some Greek yoghurt, that way it will be easier to pick up with veggie sticks, crackers etc.
    We don’t use corn chips or crackers anymore for dips, we tear up Lebanese bread, and cook it in a slow oven (or air fryer) until it is nice and crispy.
    This was a really tasty dip, and we will be making it again.

  • Just an update on this recipe, I’ve used it as a spread on wholemeal bread for my chicken and salad sandwich. Very yum and healthier than mayonnaise.
