Quick, easy and self crusting, this tasty Pecan Pie will impress and keeps for a week.


Ingredients (serves 12)

  • 23 Jatz biscuits crushed
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup vanilla castor sugar

Method

  1. Crush Jatz biscuits.
  2. Beat 3 egg whites and add sugar until stiff peaks form.
  3. Combine all ingredients and pour into a greased pie dish and cook for 25 minutes in a 200 degrees celsius oven.
  4. Allow to cool in the dish.
