  2. melt butter in a pot add flour and cook for 5 min then slowly add in milk continually string until you get a nice thick white sauce. remove from heat add half the cheese into the white sauce.
  3. chop cherry tomatoes into quarters.
  4. mix it all together! pop in a baking dish and top with cheese (can be mad to this stage in advance and left in the fridge) bake at 180 for 20min or until golden brown and hot :)

Notes... ive also made the above recipe and added bacon and eggs which was yummy also
  • Perfect pantry based recipe. Leftovers as well. The weather is perfect for a dish like this

  • Perfect for cold weather lunches and the kid’s lunchboxes

  • Yum Yum Yum… I make this but with a couple of minor differences, and my family absolutely loves it. We don’t add spinach or cherry tomatoes, but add cream of mushroom soup instead. I do love this version though and will absolutely try it.

  • Thanks for sharing……That’s dinner sorted for tonight

  • Without the tuna this would be quite nice. Instead of using a tin of creamed corn, creamed corn is easy to make yourself.

  • Great recipe especially in the lead up to winter!

  • Wow Looks deliciously golden on the pasta which is the best crunchy and nice combination of flavors thanks!

  • I’ve just found tonight’s dinner. I think I’ll cook extra and have leftovers in the lunchbox on Monday. Great idea

  • That is a great idea about not wasting the pasta

  • Love a good pasta bake! Thanks!

  • I always put frozen veggies (peas, carrots and corn) and in our tuna bakes. The kids get an dose of veggies without even knowing – its excellent :)

  • This looks and sounds so yummy. So easy to make too, an added bonus.

    • I love easy to make meals for those weeks that are just busy!

  • Love corn kernels and creamed corn – perfect for a pasta bake. Thanks for the recipe – love a good pasta recipe.
