A great wholesome, lower GI variation to plain white pasta that tastes just as good!

Ingredients (makes 300 grams Pasta)

  • 150g Oat flour
  • 100g Plain flour
  • 1 Egg + water to 100g total liquid

Method

  1. Combine the oat flour and plain flour in a bowl and mix well. Pour into Philips Pasta and Noodle Maker bowl. Secure lid and set 1 cup function. Use the desired disc shape for your recipe.
  2. Meanwhile combine egg and water to a total of 100g of liquid and slowly pour into the machine. Once all the pasta has been extruded, cook for 4-5 minutes. Serve with your favourite pasta sauce.

Notes

This recipe has been created for use in the Philips Pasta and Noodle Maker and makes 300g of pasta. Double quantities for a larger batch.

  • Thank you for posting this. Does the pasta taste distinctly like oats or does it just taste like normal pasta?

    • The raw pasta tasted like oats, but once cooked it lost the oaty flavour and tasted like ordinary pasta ☺
