So easy and yet so very tasty. Can be used in a multitude of ways, as it goes well with so many foods.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Natural Yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup Mango (blended)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley, Mint & Chives (finely chopped)

Method

  1. Combine yoghurt, mango and herbs in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate until you need to use it. Serve as a dip with vegetable crudites or toasted pita wedges, or as a sauce with seafood, fish, chicken or BBQ meat.

Notes

I often add a clove or two of crushed garlic to this sauce, and I always keep some Mango Chutney in the fridge, so that I can make this sauce at short notice, even if I don't have fresh mango to use. A dash of Tabasco gives it a pleasant little "kick". And you can use whatever herbs you prefer, it doesn't hurt to experiment a bit.

  • This sounds delicious. Especially for when you have overripe mangos. Thanks for sharing :)
