Quick and easy yoghurt loaf for the whole family :)


Ingredients (makes 1 Big loaf)

  • 150g Vanilla flavour yoghurt (keep the carton!)
  • 1 carton Cooking oil
  • 2 cartons Caster sugar
  • 3 cartons SR flour
  • 3 Beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients until creamy. Pour into a greased loaf tin.
  2. Bake for about 90 min at 150 - 160 degrees C.

Notes... VERY easy and yum! Your little one can help out :)

  • With the yoghurt cake how much oil do you use and it is a carton of the empty carton of 150 ml yoghurt in the recipe, seems a lot of oil. Thanks.

  • So clever to just have the carton of yoghurt to measure every other ingredient. Would you rinse it out and dry before you measure the flour etc?


    • Empty yoghurt first. Then I do flour, then sugar and then oil. No need rinse :)

    • Whatever fits in the 150g yoghurt carton. Haven’t measured it ingredient, would be interesting to know though

  • Thank you for the recipe for yoghurt loaf. I like the small amount of ingredients in the recipe and they are staples in the fridge and pantry. The loaf looks delicious too.
