Hello!

Air fryers are quite the rage these days. Up until now, I haven’t really been sold on the benefits of this ‘miracle’ appliance. But after having a sneak peak of the cheap-as-chips Aldi air fryer (and pizza oven combo) I may need to make some space on my kitchen counter.

We recently reported about CHOICE’s list of Kmart duds and the Kmart Air Fryer was near the top of the list of products to avoid.

So if you’re looking for a well-priced air fryer, Aldi’s best buy could be the answer.

The Aldi air fryer is not small – in fact it has a 23-litre capacity – but it is compact enough to fit on your kitchen benchtop. This versatile appliance can dehydrate, air fry, roast a chook as well as bake a pizza to perfection! Bellissimo!

This may not be the first time Aldi has thrown an air fryer into its special buy mix, but it is the first time we’ve seen the air fryer / pizza oven combo as part of the retailer’s bi-weekly sale.

Good Value

The Aldi air fryer is priced at $149 and comes with a number of accessories, including a baking tray, air frying basket and pizza stone.

Make Your Own Pasta

Once you’ve made space for your new Aldi air fryer, you’ll need to clear a bit more room for the Stainless Steel Pasta Machine, which is on sale on the same day, for only $19.99. There are also a number of pasta accessories, gadgets, cookware and dishes on offer.

We’re also quite keen on the De’Longhli Distinta Espresso Pump Machine, selling for $149 and the gorgeous coffee cups for $14.99 for a pack of 4.

Go Italian

Aldi will also have a number of Italian-style deli items on its shelves, including Burgundy truffles, olives, artichokes, pasta and San Pellegrino.

The Aldi air fryer and the other special buys go on sale on Wednesday 24 June 2020.

  • Sounds like a good gadget to have but I won’t be getting one. Also just because Aldi put it on sale doesn’t guarantee they’ll have any when you get there. I’ll give it a miss
