  • Covering the school books, not something I hated but also not something I was particularly good at. Good old contact all the way

  • I just go and buy wrapping paper in cute designs for my girls. The only time o use clear contact is on there diaries and small books that get a lot of use.

  • Wrapping paper is about as creative as things get in our house – must say though that material is an interesting idea as it can be cheaper than wapping paper length for length. I sometimes wrap presents on material for exactly this reason.

  • I love the fabric and music paper covering. My daughter gets her books the day she starts school so I will be busy with this task next week.

  • Another year of crinkled, wrinkled plastic contact on my kids books. I love these ideas. The closest I’ve got in the past is a collage of plastic contact offcuts, not big enough to cover a whole page, but mashed together randomly to cover them. They certainly stood out from the rest of the classroom.

  • I’ve always loved covering school books! I didn’t get too fancy though as it wasn’t long before the book covers were ruined…..often way before the book was full :(
