Shane Jacobson shares a touching post “I only share this with you all so that you can see the moment that our beautiful baby boy gets to see us and the world clearly for the first time.”

Shane Jacobson is an Australian actor known recently for his role in the movie Oddball. He is a father of four with wife Felicity. He shared this cute video on Facebook with the caption –
“My wonderful partner Fliss thought that our baby boy had a vision problem and decided to get him checked early, I am SO glad she did, it turned out she was right. I only share this with you all so that you can see the moment that our beautiful baby boy gets to see us and the world clearly for the first time. If you think your children may have vision problems, I can assure it’s worth the effort to get them tested. It has changed his world.”

Shane urges anyone that has concerns about their child’s vision to get it checked.

  • I think it is excellent that they share this to help raise awareness for other families. I think rule of thumb as a parent if ever concerned please, please, please just get it checked out. No one will laugh at you and it isn’t a waste of time if everything turns out fine.

  • Such a great news story. It just proves what determination on the part of parents can achieve. Being able to see will change his life so much from what it may have been.

  • This is really touching…
As someone who has worn glasses since I was three and a half, that to this day could not live without them. I truly appreciate what my parents have done for me…
I can’t remember life before glasses but I do know if I take them off now I am in trouble.

  • Isn’t it WONDERFUL that we live in a part of the world where we can access medical care as we need so our children can see, hear and get the help they (& their families need) for many other different conditions/illnesses to make their lives better and happier.
