Hello!

Like most women who have been pregnant, my tummy has never quite been the same.

Jelly belly. Flabby. Fatty. Textured. Know what I mean?

Shapewear helps to reduce jelly belly and control muffin top creating a smooth and flat appearance under clothing.

Now that sounds FABULOUS!

The two-way stretch fabric gently but firmly compresses everything that needs to be whipped into the shape it was.

I’m not talking about granny’s 50s style girdles here with boning and rib-squashing corsetry.

Spanx has been the leading name for years and the not-so-secret solution for celebrities. Assets, their lower priced shapewear is available exclusively from Target.

And because getting the right size is so important to creating a fantastic pre baby body, instead of guessing if it will fit by shopping online via the Spanx site, you can try it on for a fab fit.

Here are three of the best to tame tubby tummies and lessen love handles:

  • Just had my first baby and bought some Skinnygirl brand shapers. It does make me feel nicer while I try to work off some of this baby weight.

  • Not a fan of shape wear – I like lots of comfort with clothes and like fabric to have a particular feel.

  • I have often thought about buying myself sone of these, just for special moments. I tried my daughters on once and they didn’t do much for me, maybe they weren’t expensive enough, I’m not sure. But I doubt I’ll buy any now

  • Listen to a nana for a minute. Corsets were worn by the generations before mine. We had control briefs to help but they were actually fairly unobtrusive. I hate shape wear. I bought pants and camisole. After wrestling them on my bulge was marginally smoother but my husband was startled by my armour when he cuddled me. The struggle to get them on and off nearly did me in. I think they are for slim people who want to look smoother wearing clingy clothes.
