With the Smileview Simulator pop-up, Australians can now visualise what their smile could look like with straighter teeth before they start Invisalign treatment.

Many adults are keen to improve their smile and the appearance of their teeth with orthodontic treatments Research from Orthodontics Australia reveals a staggering 46% of Aussies would, given the chance, change their teeth over any other facial feature, with 22% wanting to change their nose, 12% their eyes and almost two-thirds revealing a desire to fix their ‘crooked smiles’.

Our troubled relationship with our teeth usually starts in our teens.  Research by Invisalign Australia revealed that almost 1 in 3 teens are dissatisfied with their teeth, and 1 in 5  find it embarrassing to have crooked teeth. The research also highlighted that over a third of teens deliberately smile with their mouth closed, or look away when talking to others.

In response to this, Invisalign Australia has launched a SmileView simulator visualisation tool at selected Westfield Shopping Centres.

The SmileView simulator is one of the latest in dental technology, allowing consumers to see a simulation of what their new smile could look like if they were to undergo Invisalign treatment.

This is no snapchat filter… Using a highly sophisticated algorithm, the automated system leverages a database of tooth movements from over 7 million Invisalign cases, to provide a simulation of what someone could look like with straighter teeth after undergoing Invisalign treatment.

To celebrate the launch, Invisalign Australia will host a series of pop-up centres in selected Westfield shopping centres across Australia, for consumers to trial the new technology.

For the chance to try on a new smile and get a free Invisalign consultation with your selected Invisalign provider, visit one of nine Westfield pop-up locations:

In this time and age the focus on our appearance is too big and unhealthy with a strive to reach the ideal; this article actually doesn’t help.

  • I would love to try the simulator. My teeth are fairly good but I’d like to see what I’d look like with a perfect smile.

  • Just wish my teeth were whiter. Otherwise all good

    • If you can afford it go to your local dentist and either get your teeth bleached in chair which takes about 2 hours and you get a take home pack which is extra bleach or cheaper option
Just do a take home bleach from dentist and do it for 2 weeks
1 option could range from $900-$1100
2 option might coast from $400-$600
      Or do nothing
But bleach won’t take any grey collar out of teeth and won’t bleach fillings crowns or veneers
And also if you your a heavy smoker probably not worth it as nicotine really stains teeth

  • I used to have a plate to straighten my teeth. My kids I think we’ll need braces but not until they are over 18. Teeth still move as they are growing and having it done early might result in them going slightly crooked later

  • I am happy how they look like. Wish they were more “healthy” …
