Hello!

Why is it that whenever I feel like a long soak in the bath, my kids want one to? In we go, three of us, all trying to get some room, pushing and elbowing each other, until finally, I give up and just hop out. I need to get smarter and not say anything, simply slink away to the bathroom and lock the door!

  • Glad you get a hot one occasionally. I don’t get in the bath too often. Besides the youngest one only likes the water warm and will stay there until it is cold and his feet are going blue if I let him. I often push him down one end and pull the plug (he is nearly 4.y.o.). I never leave him in the bath alone. Just as well there is heating in the bathroom or I would freeze while bathing him. He can partly wash himself.

  • Yes that sneak away sounds like a good plan until your just getting nice and relaxed and they started pounding on the door and whinge’n and whining for your attention lol

  • My girls, 8 and 9, still like to hop in if I give them the chance!

  • I do this lately, but I either do it when the kids are really busy or just after they have gone to bed, then they have no chance to get in with me AND I can have it super hot just like I like it!

  • Ha ha, I barely fit in our bath tub, let along the kids too!! But you’re right, you need to slip away quietly :)
