Hello!

I used to watch How to Make an American Quilt and thought the answer to marry someone who was like a best friend or someone you were passionate about was easy, friends are for life but passion comes and goes. Having now been married for over 14 years together for close to 20, I think maybe I was wrong. I really feel like I am only living with the father of my children and that my husband has gone forever. We don’t do any couple time, he’s become reticent to communicate and has rarely made changes to better himself, whilst I have worked hard over the years to address many of my foibles to become a better me. I no longer know how long I can put up with the lack of passion.

  • get some help lovey… be careful of blaming one party – takes two to tango. He may feel burdened by the need to be the breadwinner, and feel unappreciated too. You didn’t say anything too mean, so tipping love is still there….. Get some help. You will be ok x

  • I guess there’s no one particular on how to marry the right person for you, I just wanted to know because it’s been awhile if your situation has improved? I hope things are working out for you.
