Does anyone else get so completely wrapped up in organising their children’s birthdays?! For me it’s like an obsession… I realised this after my husband not so subtly told me I had been nonstop talking about my child’s upcoming 2nd birthday for the last 6 months… Oops :/
I never had grand birthdays as a child so for me, giving my daughter that opportunity is a privilege. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not spoilt rotten and the birthdays are actually very simple, but I put in a lot of effort to the small touches…
We do a lot of kids birthday every year and I sit there trying to work out if those parents have also spent the last 6 months planning every miniscule details, and where did she buy this adorable goody bags!!!!
Just me?
