i went and put a whole lot of stuff on lay-by! well not too crazy (a few hundred) and paid that off so all my shopping was done lol. i avoided the last minute rush plus kept control of the finances and no-body missed out. I only really buy for my kids and then if we have a party, i will get the guests a little gift but only if in budget.

I’ve suggested the Kris Kringle option to my family this year. Put everyone’s names in a hat, draw them out one at a time, each person gets a name and that’s who they buy a gift fir. With a set maximum value of $100. No one agrees with he though. So I’ve decided that I’m just not buying for anyone. I’m over gift buying

For now I’ve bought some books for my daughter and a calendar for my husband. I will have to think about something else to add. Not sure what though.

I have bought presents, but decorations only go up at Christmas time in December. I like the magic of the Christmas season.
