Christmas in July is so much fun. Cool days with warm food, rugging up and fake snow, frivolity and fun! Even a trip to the snow.

  • For those who live in Adelaide there is rare occasions when snow will fall at Mt. Lofty. It often melts fairly quickly. Up north places like Snowtown and surrounding towns have been known to get snow.

  • Great idea. Getting the decorations out fills up a day or two (as does putting them away!) and makes the place more cheerful for a few days.

  • I’ve never celebrated Christmas in July. But I went once to the Blue Mountains, NSW, in July and it was so cozy to drink a cup of hot chocolate with the Christmas tree all lighted up in the cafe’! :-)

    • The Blue Mountains would be heavenly – sounds wonderful.

      • It is, yes! This time of the year there is probably snow too!! :-)

      • I think a trip is in order – thanks! :)
