Hello!

Well I’m going to do it this year. After years and years of buying expensive Christmas Crackers only to be dissapointed with what comes out the other end… I’ve decided to make my own.

1, I’ve saved gladwrap and alfoil rolls and found a party shop that sells the snaps.

2. Googled a great joke site and have already typed out the jokes, printed out and cut to fit the roll.

3. Not bothering about the hats because no-one ever wears them or if they do it’s for 5 minutes.

4. I’m using leftover wrap and ribbon from past presents and like the idea that every cracker will look different.

5. Each cracker will have the person’s name hanging off the ribbon and each cracker will have well thought out goodies inside to fit the person. Found some amazing things in the $2 dollar shop and Pharmacy Bargain Bins to afford 3 or 4 little treasures in each cracker.

I’ve made 5 so far and have another 6 to go and I’m loving it. It’s been so much fun and I can’t wait to see everyone’s faces on Christmas Day when we all pull the cracker.
