Hello!

I have been with my partner now for 20 yeras. In a nutshell, he lost both his previous children in his previuos marriage – their son Gabriel was still born and their daughter Angelica died at 16 months.
Their story is here

The loss of their children tore their marriage apart and after 8 months of being separated from her we met when I was 30. I never ever thought I could get preganant because basically I never did. the oen thing I did do that many never thought to do was acknowledge him on Father’s day – because basically he WAS a father. So many people didn’t think to say or do anything for him on this day.
10 years into our relationship- when I was 40 I had my one and only pregnancy and here we are now with our 10 year old daughter Shedea Nardu (she carries the same midle name as her deseased sister). So altough he is avery damaged man in so many ways from what he went through with his previous children, his days of celebrating Father’s Day are now even more special.
All this has taught me so many things, the ones that stick out by far are to never EVER give up hope if you can and always try to be kind to each other – we never know when it’s going to be the last time you talk to that person or see that person. Love one another as much as you can and most of all LOVE YOURSELF. Because we are all amazing – no matter if you don’t feel it all the time, because you simply are.
