My darling son has become quite a handful. We have been seem by are Ped and they have confirmed our thoughts, he has ADHD. Along with this he has some defiant DD and Conduct disorder signs too.

My son has been seeing a psych and while that helps, the sessions are few and far between.

His school teacher agrees that he shows some tendencies, he is quite controlled in the classroom and thus far his behavior has not effected his learning (thankfully). Because of this observation our Ped has recommended further and more frequent psych sessions are needed.

I’m glad she won’t suggest a drug treatment for him but I feel like I’ve been left unsupported. We are struggling with his behavior towards us and his siblings. We fear his rough play and bullying will one day turn into something far worse than bumps and bruises! He knows right from wrong but gets these thoughts in his head that he HAS to act out. He wrecks things, usually others thing’s. His sister’s last bike was trashed because of him. We had to rehome our dog because was starting to be cruel to it and he wasn’t/isn’t regretful of his actions and very rarely takes responsibility for them either unless being caught out.

I feel as though I HAVE to follow him around and shadow his movements just so he won’t hurt or destroy anyone or anything. Something that seems impossible with 2 other children vying for my attention too.
