Hello!

Before I became a mum myself, I was TERRIFIED of the idea of me taking care of a squalling crying newborn, I thought I would break them! And then my older sister got pregnant, and having a baby so near, it completely changed the way I thought about babies, they didn’t look like potatoes, that each had distinct characteristics, I never though I would be able to say I could find a baby in a bunch, but hey, I could find mine and my nephew in a room on toddlers and newborns! I have to thank my sister for curing my fear of babies, always the older, looking out for me. :)

  • Lol I hear ya! Wasn’t really a kid person until I had my daughter and now I love kids. I think I was okay with holding them but it was bathing them was my issue I wasn’t able to bath my daughter until she was at least a month older because I was terrified that I might accidentally drown her or something but I’m glad I got over that fear. The only thing I can’t do til now is cut nails but having children changes you for the best :)

  • Haha – glad everything is good now. I’m not worried about when my little Bean is here, just worried about going through the labour process.

  • Do believe a certain natural instinct takes over when one has their own bub. All the best of wishes to you and your little one.

  • It’s funny how everything changes once it’s your turn.
