Hello!

We love the school holidays and we loving getting out and about but we do love the free activities that are offered by the shopping centres. They have offered craft activities and entertainment activities and the opportunities for kids to meet animals that they have not encountered at any other time. It is good to have a mix of both indoor and outdoor activities and the very best part is that all of the activities are free. We take our own snacks and lunch and drinks and we are all set for good times. The school holidays do not need to be expensive.

  • i don’t think that there really are a lot of free activites where i live but i try to go and do things like visit the botanical gardens and have a picnic, go to the beach, going to the local water park. The kids are happy just to get out of the house and go for a walk! we are trying to be healthier and model healthier habits. Just getting outside and spending quality time with the kids, playing kick ball, is so rewarding and builds up the bond. Going to the pet store to look but not buy, the kids just LOVE this!

  • I agree there are lots of things on offer these days without having to go out and spend a fortune! I love the craft at the shopping centre my daughters did a painting at Westfield the other day and it made her day!

    • The bonus of a mall is coffee shops for coffee and cake after activities!
