Hello!

We have decided to get my little boy a pet hopefully a puppy so we started talking about getting a new pet and the possibility of a puppy.

So we asked our son Jac a few weeks ago : ” would you like a puppy or a kitten?”
Jac: “ummmm I would like a cow”. Okay need talk up the puppy some more.
Two weeks ago ” Would you like a puppy or a duckling” ummm I would like a kangaroo!” Okay our technique of talking up the puppy is not working! So we start telling him he is getting a puppy everyone seems to be onboard! Yeah!
So I ask ” what would you like to call you puppy”
Jac: ” ummm….(after some serious thought!) Jac!” How do we get out of this one! Can you imagine the confusion and great excuses that could be used

  • I had a pet cow … and lambs and goats… farm kids!!!

    • Farm kids get to have some unusual pets. A cousin of mine had pet emu chicks. The Mum was injured somehow and unfortunately they weren’t able to save her. They also rescued some scrub turkeys. They had a huge fenced area. They shut them in a big purpose built shed at night because of foxes. There was often lambs being bottle fed

  • So a little update on the Puppy and his name, we picked up our puppy just over a month ago and my son decided on the name Yoda! Thankfully for now he has forgotten about the possibilities of any other animals and he is very happy with his new mate.
