Hello!

Recently I met a father who’s wife died before here time; he now is a full time dad to three beautiful children and is a great care giver. When I speak with him I can hear what a challenge being a single dad is although he hasn’t had a lot of time to relise the responsibility he has taken on, but he’s doing a great job. I praise any parent or grandparents that have had to do the same. It’s amazing how capable we are when their is a child or children involved. I look forward to my new friendship with whom I will call Mr Mum and I look forward to the friendship that has started, he has told me that I have been a great motivation for him and after one week I am also feeling more motivated at what can be achieved through my new friendship with Mr mum and a positive outlook. I would love to hold a fundraiser so the kids can have an education fund. It’s fantastic what people do, for there communities and I know this would benefit the children.

  • What a wonderful suggestion. His lucky Mr Mum is to have you in his life. And how lucky are his kids if you have a successful fundraiser for them? Nice to see nice people do still exist

  • I was saddened to hear of his loss and he sounds like a wonderful man and he will do a fantastic job raising them as there are alot of Fathers that are great for and to there kids and contribute to the raising off them. As well good on you for being a great friend to him as he will need an outlet and an adult to talk to at times. It’s Great he knows he has you for support
