  • We do it fortnightly as that is how often we are paid. I get long life milk and snacks for the second week, and leave a small budget buffer to get fresh fruit with in the second week. I can even get that out in cash so l dont accidentally spend it.

  • Sone things are weekly, like bread and fruit and veg. Others are monthly

  • I generally do a huge shop every month. Stocking the pantry and the freezer. Milk, bread, veggies and fruit are topped up,weekly. This has worked for me for years. It’s so hard to shop with small children, so why not thus way?

  • I go shopping walking, so a weekly shopping wouldn’t be possible for me. I’ve got the supermarket super close to my home (3 minutes walking) so I go around 3 times a week.

  • I try and do a shop once a week. I find I don’t spend as much when I shop regularly and keep to a list.

    • A list is a life saver and sticking to a list is essential!
