Hello!

I feel like I’m trapped in the cycle of spaghetti, lasagne, Shepard’s pie, and sausages to get my little girl to eat veggies. She likes raw veg, which is great but won’t go near cooked veg, and my little man is only 8 months but loves to feed himself so needs finger food options. I need some more menu options that aren’t too complicated or that take too long to make. She loves pasta and rice, and she is a good eater in general, but some days I just feel like I’m not doing enough and that I’m failing her, other days I look at her and see how perfect she is and I don’t worry, Ah mother’s guilt!!

  • I know there have been a few great recipes on MoM for finger foods that include vegetables that are really suitable for children. Wishing you all the best to find things that suit both your children.

  • I add grated and pureed vegies to meals and nobody knows the difference; a good way to get kids to eat their vegies! :)

  • How about quiches or vegetable bakes.
