Hello!

Sooooooo when I was in my early twenty’s my now hubby and I decided we wanted to have a baby. We tried for two years but every month, my period came. Off to the GP we went who referred us to the local women’s hospital for testing. I underwent heaps of tests to be then told that I had what was called unexplained infertility (in other words, they had no idea!) and I would have to go on fertility medication indefinately to fall pregnant. Depressed was I and off we went home after making another appointment for a month or so later. Too my wonderful surprise I had to cancel my next appointment as I had fallen pregnant all on my own!!! Our beautiful baby boy Tayvin was born by emergency vacuum extraction a few months before my 26th birthday and we were delighted. 3 years later, hubby decided he wanted another baby as apparently I did really well in my 40 hour labor even though i abused everyone that came into the room and screamed at the Aneathetist to stick the (insert french here) needle in and don’t (expletive) it up!!!! So we tried for number 2 and final baby as I only ever wanted two. Alas 12 months later still no pregnancy so off to the Gynae we went. I was again told I had unexplained infertility and that IVF would be our option. I was given a script for Chlomid and sent home to organise hubby to do “his bit” for the whole process. So as to try to avoid the whole “cup” issue, hubby suggested I take the Chlomid for a month and if no go, he would do the deed. I was about to turn thirty and told hubby that if I wasn’t pregnant by the time I turned thirty, that was it. No more babies. So I took the Chlomid, stuffed it up mind you and started on the wrong days and then that month, hubby and I had a HUGE argument and I joked at work how the Chlomid was wasted that month as I was still cross with him. I turned 30 and we had a party and a great night but hubby kept telling me I was so cranky these days. Wouldn’t you know it, 2 days after I turned 30 I found out I was pregnant with baby my little man Sevren who arrived by emergency c-section. I think boys tend to be emergency deliveries and my theory is that they won’t ask for directions to the way out!!!. anyway off we went happily with our two little boys and wouldn’t you know it! two years later, I got the flu, forgot to take my pill and BANG baby girl Reine came along and we had to change the car, change the house etc!!! After my little princess was born I started having girlie problems as my cervix had shut itself tightly closed (can’t blame it really. I called it my scared little cervix) and I constantly had a pool of blood in my uterus every month and my periods were all over the place. After putting up with this for near on 4 years, I decided the uterus needed to go as this is what generally happens in my family. So off to the GP to get the referral and my god I waited 5 months to get an appointment to see someone. I got my letter with my appointment and I rang to confirm and said I wouldn’t miss it for the world!!! The week before my appointment was due, I was in the shower brushing my teeth, as you do and gagged!! HELL NO I cried and thought I’ll just get a test to put my mind at ease and get on with my day. My period will be here tomorrow and all will be fine. BUT NO! NOT FOR ME!!! My body had decided that it would open the little scared cervix, just long enough to let a little wriggly bugger in and VIOLA, Baby Marius is here, 6 months old, absolutely beautiful (however he is blonde and fair, where the other 3 are olive and dark haired) and I couldn’t be happier (or more tired) And that’s how life finds a way.
