Hello!

I feel exactly as you do!! I hate to ask for help, and even though I have family nearby, I never do as I feel it’s just too much trouble for them. Since my husband works with heavy machinery and has to be leaving the house by 5:30am, I rarely let him know at 4am when my youngest and I start our day. I can’t believe it is possible to go for so long on so little sleep. Even if my kids have a good night, I find I’m lying there waiting to hear them now!! It’s so frustrating! I actually have been conditioned to wake at 4! I was thinking this morning, maybe I should just put the washing on now, if I start now, I’ll have the whole house cleaned by 6am, lol. I wish there was a group of Mum’s we could all band together and have each other’s back. I agree, a tribe seems like a blessing, not the hard life they seem to make out in documentaries. Funny thing is, when our kids are finally sleeping like we hope for, we’ll be back at work, and still have to get up at a crazy hour to get things done. Times like this, I just thank god for modern conveniences such as washing machines, hot water from a tap, makeup to cover those dark bags, and TV to entertain out kids for a moment or two so we can stare blankly into space and have a moment off. LOL <3 Still, we know we are so lucky to have those smiling little faces look at us with completely adoring eyes and love. Makes it all worth it.
