Hello!

My little one is now 27 months. I thought i’ll prepare myself for the next one by reading all about pregnancy again. Instead of feeling more confident, it just brings back all the experiences and memories. It made me feel uncertain, much more than my first one. with my first baby, i was pretty confident of what i had wanted, too confident i’d say. So when the delivery didnt go as planned, i wasnt ready for it. and i definitely wasnt ready to deal with hourly feed, night cries for months to come, eczema, allergies and asthma. but i’ve learnt to cope with it and took it in good stride (i think!).

my little one is just amazing, his hearty laugh, cheeky smile, punchline that i myself would never thought of – he makes me forget all the experiences until i started recalling them.

Would i be able to do the go through all of these if and when i’ve my second one???…

  • Women are surprisingly resilient when it comes to giving birth and motherhood. I’m sure once it’s all happening, you will get through it

  • Yes. You’d be able to all these things and more. One look at the little finger nails and that first smile and you could do everything again a thousand times!
