  • good on you for sharing, its the toughest fight in the world and some days it can be so dark but it will get better and then maybe relapse again, and your boys will help you pick up again.

  • Thank you for sharing, this is half the battle, admitting that you may have a problem is a big step and being aware that you suffer depression allows you to recognise when you are becoming unwell and ask for help, even though sometimes everything is to hard you have your babies and they have to be a priority, I was a single mum with three pre-schoolers, I worked full time in a demanding job and although financially I was secure, career was well and when I walked out the door in the morning everything seemed fine, it was not, I was very ill, my parents realized it but could not get me to admit I had a problem and could not get any help from the local doctors because I was good at lying, eventually Mum kidnapped!!! my children, I spend months in hospital and many years later I still suffer from depression but I recognise it. My children grew up fine and my twin boys actually started school when I was sick, I do not remember taking them, apparently my sister went with me, but I did miss out on a lot, just remember if you are feeing not well get help as you need to look after yourself and your babies.

  • I have experienced depression however, self harming worries me. There are counsellors who could be of help as well as medications. Focus on your 2 lovely boys, you are their world & they need you. I hope you have support through family & friends. :)

    • Self harm adds a whole new dimension to the situation.
