Hello!

A little while ago, my daughter had her first birthday. We threw a big one, mainly for everyone to have something to celebrate. You see, a few months into the pregnancy, my aunty was diagnosed with cancer. We decided to tell her that her first niece was in the way, to give her something to be excited about. Unfortunately she passed before bubba was born.
Shortly after our little angel was born, my mum was diagnosed with a very rare breast cancer. She loved being a grandmother, but unfortunately could only be one for 8 months. We lost her shortly after mother’s day.
Our grandparents are struggling, after losing both of their daughters within 2 years. But now, as if icing on the cake of our journey, our grandma has been diagnosed with a stage 1 cancer. Thankfully it is operable and she will be okay.
But through all the blows that we have had in the last few years, there is one thing that pulls us through. She has a cheeky little grin, an infectious giggle and hugs and kisses that make the sun shine. My beautiful daughter. I believe she was sent to us for a reason. She made my aunty’s and mum’s life have a purpose in the end and whenever my grandparents are upset, bubby goes to visit. This little girl deserved the big Disney party she got, because she has no idea how much her existence has done for us
