Loom bands rediscovered! - Real Mum story on MoM

Just when I thought it was all over, my nine year old has rediscovered loom bands! Bugger! I was sure I’d just finished vacuuming the last rogue band off the floor. Why on why has this craze griped her again? Because darling hubby and daughter were shopping, saw some loom bands on sale reduced to 50 cents and decided to get some! Bugger! Maybe I should be getting him to clean/pick them up!

I discovered that they perish fairly quickly if they get wet or are exposed to the sun. If children wear them the last thing they think about is getting them wet. Possibly it is connected to whatever we wash our hands with.
I very carefully picked up a loomband wristband and it disintergrated it.

My kids buy them because their cheap but then don’t use them!

My daughter is 12 and just this year she started to become crazy about them. Not much interest before. I think they are a wonderful way for kids to do something creative, beautiful and entertaining.
