Moving interstate with little babies and limited support, gives you the opportunity to discover strengths you never knew you had.

Over a year ago I relocated to Sydney with my husband and 2 toddlers. It was the hardest thing I have ever done, leaving everything and everyone moving from such a small town to a HUGE city. Then to make it harder I fell pregnant with my third child, whilst a beautiful blessing, managing 3 babies under 3.5 yrs with no family or friends is certainly a challenge – I give big praises to all the single mums out there, yous are awesome. I have discovered so much about myself over the past year and found a lot more strength to push through my days. Going through this struggle has given me a lot more confidence as a mother I feel as though I have grown somehow, and it feels wonderful. I would still love to find some friends or a support group close to home, but I know that if I don’t I will still be OK. Happy I took a chance and have come out brighter and stronger.

My husband and myself along with our 2 boys also made a big move around 4 years ago now. It is hard in the beginning I must admit, not knowing anyone etc but it definitely gets easier as time goes on.
