Hello!

I was 1 of 4 children. The second eldest one pass away from cystic fybrois (he was only 8years old) I was only 10 months old.I don’t really recall my brother as I was so young but I always remember him from the photograph that sat on my parents mantle piece for many of years. I was the baby of the family and there for I should of learnt from my brothers and sisters, but I was the rebel of the family the one who always came home late left school & didn’t obey by the rules left home at 14 smoked drank did everything I should of done. It wasn’t until I had my first child that I realised how silly I had been. I went on to have another child and that is when it hit me …..OMG I am a mother of 2 children. My mother always told me you gave birth to the children you look after them (it may sound harsh but it worked). I married the father of the children which ended in a divorce nearly 20 years later. He didn’t come home very much and would stay away from days on end, so I really brought the children up alone. If it wasn’t for the help of my mother I wouldn’t be the person I am today. My marriage was wrong from the start but I didn’t see that and tried to stay for the children (bad judgement).Today I have 2 beautiful girls one of them married last year.If it wasn’t for my mother for her support and helping me though the tough times I would be here today. I just want to say THANKS mum. Our relationship has never been as strong as it is today and I miss her. Who would of thought a little baby who was in so much trouble could turn out to be who I am today. Today I am as happy as I have ever been with a man who loves me and treats me with respect. So Thanks mum for putting up with me being a painful child. Love You Always cant wait til see you in a few weeks.

  • Our parents are given the responsibility to raise us to become more responsible as we get older. Mums are the ones the girls look up to more so than Dads.
No matter how hard Mums try girls don’t aways follow the advise given and then have to learn by their mistakes. I am sure we have all done that so some extent.

  • Travelling through the teenage years can be tough; but most people come out on the other side of it intact; which is good! Glad you appreciated your mum.

  • A mother is one who can take the place of all others, but whose place no-one else can take.
