Hello!

I have been struggling with this concept for the last few weeks after the other mums from my mothers group were discussing the guilt they have felt over their parenting methods. I have never felt like this before but the more I though about it the more things i came up with to feel guilty over and now i can probably say that its safe to say i can join the guilty club. i just wish everyone could stop comparing themselves to others and comparing their own parenting style to others. Does anyone else have any ways to overcome this and more importantly to stop others from feeling this way because honestly that is what got me in this mess in the 1st place lol

  • You need to do what feels right for you and your child.

  • just do what works for you! we are all individual and i don’t think that we should be placed into any labels. i reckon just to let this go over you head and forget about it. you were happy and fine until they somehow made you feel wrong. There is no wrong or right in regards to parenting and we are all just trying to find our way through it.

  • It is ok to listen and to give advice …but rather than say this is advice or this is the way it should be. Try in … My opinion or from my experience. You can take bits and pieces from these hints and tips. If you don’t do them who cares you are doing what is best for your family and children … Are they happy ? Well that is all that matters.
