Hubby was in a good mood. Normally he is but extra good , we had been to visit our son in hospital and then out for dinner… Our three children have left the nest with our daughter being 33 and she has two little girls , our twins are 31. And one has a son the other no children as of yet … Anyway I said to my hubby after we got home I said you do shift work I said how about a dog to keep me company … Oh he said like the last one o you could walk it .. And I did. . Oh this is not going very well I thought . So with a big smile he says … I do not think so.. We down sized from a house to a villa so our kids would not bring home things that eat ,shit and make a mess and we now have three grand kids. I said that’s not funny he said I think so when I see you running around after they leave cleaning all there little finger marks off everything , you know you could save your self a lot of work if you did not feed them… Yes I said and a bloody lot more if I did not feed you…. He said. Look honey. How about a gold fish he said I will not have to clean the yard up after it , I won,t have to go and put it in the garbage or inside in a storm or firework night , I won,t have to pay vet bills and he went on and on. So please honey no more pets ,, oh buy the way he said pulling out two tickets. And we will not need a dog sitter for our holiday over to Perth on the Indian pacific Omg I was so excited. Omg. Omg. He said if you really want a little dog when we get back we will get one okay ….
