Hello!

My husband and I will celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary with our three children this year. Each one is a blessing but our youngest was definitely a surprise blessing. Having married young (I was 19 he was 23) we decided to wait a few years before starting a family. After a few unsuccessful and discouraging years we went to my Ob/Gyn for tests. I was devastated to discover that I had polycystic ovaries and, in my doctor’s words, one of he worst cases of endometriosis he had ever seen. Surgery and fetility drugs ensued. We were ecstatic to discover we were pregnant – and equally devastated when we had a miscarriage. But we persevered and had our son. A few years later (with more fertility drugs) we had our daughter. We had always wanted three children but just couldn’t face the rigmarole again. So we agreed to be happy with our pigeon pair.Imagine our surprise 3 1/2 years later when after stopping the pill due to side effects and being assured by the GP that with my history there was no need for ‘precautions’ we discovered we were expecting again. What a special blessing! We now have two beautiful boys and one gorgeous girl. All special blessings but none more so than our little surprise.
