Well where do i actually start ? Well i have 4 kids aged 20,14,12 and 6 ..my problem is my 14 year old son is totally out of control that i am at my wits end with him.he is so disrespectful to me calls me every name under the sun even in public he smashes my house and hits the younger kids .so now my younger kids are starting to do the same cos they see him doing it i have tried to help for him since he was about 10 but no one wants to know about it …

  • I think you need to get another Dr who is willing to give you a referral to someone who can help with this problem and help your son

  • That’s tough hun. There are no real answers, hopefully he will find himself & outgrow this behaviour but in the meantime it can’t be nice. Does he play sports, maybe he needs a hobby. I wish you all the best :)

  • yes he has got a dad but he hates his dad too ..n i have 3 boys and the 20 yr old is a girl but she actually moved out of home at 15 cos she couldnt handle him ..he has just been kicked out of his 5th high school n 4 have been behaviour schools he is just out of control totally..to tell you the truth he gets arrested alot and my other kids love it when he gets arrested as he usually gets locked up for a few days n they beg me not to bail him out cos its peaceful without him home ..

  • This doesn’t sound very pleasant for you at all. I would think his school should be a starter for you, perhaps talk to the principal or a teacher you feel comfortable with. Not sure if there is a father involved but perhaps he needs some male guidance, is he the only boy? Gp’s can also help if you are stuck or feel helpless as where to go for help, don’t be afraid to seek assistance. Is the 20 yr old a good role model? I wish you the best hun :)
