Hello!

I injured my back significantly 10 years ago and have always been concerned about my ability to carry children to term. Being on very strong medication and worrying about the impacts it would have and whether I could cope without it has been something I found out I could certainly do despite doctors saying I couldn’t. I am now 8 months pregnant, not on any pain relief at all and coping amazingly well!! I’m getting some pelvic discomfort etc but only the normal pregnancy things – my injury itself is the best it has been in 10 years!!! I hope it continues to remain so post pregnancy also. Pregnancy has been such a blessing for me and I realise how lucky I am

  • Your story is very positive and my sister in law has a very bad spine which affected her cervic and had two healthy children . Her doctors just monitored her throughout her pregnancies but never had they say don’t do it etc. Wish you all the best :)
